The LeMieux thermo-cool rug offers ultimate climate control for horses. This rug is made from a unique carbon nano fibre inner lining with a soft close-weave mesh, covering the shoulders, back and quarters which is key for maintaining muscle temperature whilst cooling down after exercise. The thermo-cool features superb wicking properties and is ideal for those cooler days, post exercise, travelling and at competition. This rug has fully removable belly straps and has a soft wool and acrylic blend outer fabric. It should be noted that this rug is not designed as an outer stable rug and horses should not be left for extended periods in the stable or over-night. The outer fabric is a breathable wicking material and not a rip-stop denier, therefore it can snag, however this rug can be used as an under rug if desired. Due to the technical nature of the fabrics used in the rug we recommend using a large wash bag to protect from any rough edges when machine washing. The LeMieux thermo-cool rugs are true to size.
