A Stove Top Cover in choice of stain color with a personalized carving: a customer provided letter for within the wreath.The cover is a standard size 30″ wide by 22″ deep. If a different size is desired, enter it in the custom size field (example 28″x20″).The default is for the carving to be unpainted (except for whitewash which is black). Use customization to change to white or black paint.The standard cover is made with 4 pine boards to create the main surface. A board at each end connects the pieces and provides mounting for the handles. The main board area is 3/4″ thick and the overall height of the cover at the handles is 2-1/2″. The stove top cover is stained with a water based stain. All wood surfaces (including carved area) are protected with several coats of a water based polyurethane. The back has felt pads along the perimeter to protect your glass surface.As this item is made of natural wood, there will be variations in how the wood takes the stain, grain, knots, bowing, cupping, etc. Care is taken to try and make a “best face” for the surface and carving area.Do not place on an active or warm stove top.
