You are viewing an authentic and original 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers Roster -This copy was Allan Roth’s – Roth was the first full-time statistician in baseball history. He was hired by Branch Rickey in 1947 after he kept statistics for the minor league Montreal Royals. He had worked with the Dodgers as their statistician all the way through 1964. We acquired his personal collection of guides, publications and memorabilia that he had kept throughout his years with the Dodgers. Roster is in Mint Shape – Displays Well!!
