This RöstHaus Tamping Station is made from Walnut and Maple and the bottom has rubber feet to prevent slipping. The tamping station is designed with a slot that allows you to rest your portafilter and tamper together. Most importantly this tamping station provides a firm base while tamping and allows you to make an even tamp while keeping the portafilter balanced and level.
