Gen3Combo RC focus mitts are a combination of classic curved boxing mitts and boxing gloves to allow safe give-and-receive type of work. The Gen3Combo focus mitts move coach’s hands and elbows protection to a complete new level. In 2016 we adopted the concept of ‘soft connection’ to all Ultimatum Boxing focus mitts. The core element of this concept is the soft padding on the front part of the focus mitts. Laboratory and field testing proves that soft connection focus mitts provide up to 30% better impact force absorption compared to solid body focus mitts. HIGH LEVEL OF PROTECTION. The Gen3Combo RC focus mitts use the ‘soft connection’ impact absorption principle. The peak force of the punch registered at the moment of connection with the target is dissolved by the soft padding on the front side of the mitt. The residual punch energy is then absorbed by a cascade of different density foams composing the padding.
COMFORT. The Gen3Combo focus mitts are equipped with a grip ball for easy and stable holding, a protective soft-padding wrist pad to decrease the damage when the punch lands below the center of the mitt and a finger cover to eliminate finger injury risk while high-speed combo training.
DURABILITY. The case of the mitts is made totally of premium quality genuine cowhide leather laminated with fabric in the areas of maximum stress. All stitching is made with a 4-ply nylon thread.
