This solid oak wood stool lets you sit comfortably in a kneeling position; the centered Pi-style leg configuration allows for a wide kneeling stance. The bottom edges of the legs are curved very slightly, allowing you find just the right sitting position. The stool consists of three pieces (two legs and the seat platform). They are connected via mortise and tenon joints with no nails or screws. The seat is approximately 21” wide, and 8” from front to back. It is about 8″ tall, measured from the middle of the seat. (The seat is about an inch lower in the front and an inch higher in the back, roughly a 15 degree angle.) Each stool receives a light treatment of tung tree oil for moisture protection. Meditation stools arrive fully assembled, ready to use. Please allow 2-3 weeks for construction, as each stool is individually built to order.
