These rings are guaranteed handcrafted by me from GENUINE 1921 Morgan Silver Dollars, which were named for the engraver who designed them and not the banker as some believe. Morgan Dollars are as iconic and synonymous with the American Old West as you can possibly get, short of steam locomotives and peacemakers, and at 1/2″ of width do make as bold of a statement piece. They are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper, our founding fathers did this to avoid coinage being used to make sterling silverware such as was done with British coinage.These rings are available in brushed or mirror finishes with or without clearcoating, in sizes going up to US Size 19! This allows for a truly custom experience. Since this is such a large coin, sizes 11 and smaller will take on a non-conventional shape to the band as should be evident in the photos. I am working to resolve these oddly shaped bands in the smaller sizes. As a rule of thumb, the larger the ring size, the better looking and better shape the band will have, so be aware of this as you are placing your order. Additional charges for oversized rings are applied commensurately with the time and difficulty in reaching those larger sizes successfully, and for how rare these larger sizes are to find available anyways, I think you will agree it is truly a bargain to find a handmade ring available in these sizes even at my pricing.Yes, you can find cheaper rings elsewhere, but if you want a genuine coin ring, please be careful, and use common sense, no matter where you are buying your ring. No one is going to take a $40 coin and turn it into a $20 ring. It takes one to two hours to make a genuine silver dollar ring properly with hand tools. And each ring I sell is made especially for the customer at the time the order comes in.
