This wool blanket is a blast from the past. Woven on an 1940’s loom at The Willamette Heritage Center, it will keep you toasty warm while bringing the beauty of natural wool to your home. The yarn was donated by two woolen mills and wove during tours at The Heritage Center. Hand finished by me, it is slightly felted, giving is a fuzzy texture. The loom, being over 100 years old, has some quirks. If you look closely, you’ll see irregularities in the weave, adding to its charm. It measures 6′ x 6′. 100% of the proceeds go to The Willamette Heritage Center, a 501 (c)3 in Salem, Oregon.
