Being the color of purple, this lamp would enhance the prosperity sector beautifully. Colors of lavender opal, transparent violet purple & grape purple, along with white clear opal were layered upon a raised screen and fired to 1700 degrees to get the organic look of melted glass. As this process happens, the glass will create its own art upon falling onto the kiln shelf. The organic panels were then fire-polished on to the grape purple background glass. Artist then embellished the piece with purple agate and rose quartz. Using her stained-glass skills, the artist created the 4-panel lamp using a copper foil technique and a final touch of decorative soldering. Glass shade is free standing on the custom-made glass base, so simply just lift and rotate the shade to enjoy new adventures displayed in the panels. The shade is held in place by glass beads on the inside corners to prevent it being bumped off. No two patterns will be alike, which makes this fused art piece truly one of a kind.
